ABIA Accreditation Seals: The Global Standard for Quality
ABIA is an independent accreditation body offering standards-based certification across vocational education, web technology, application quality, and individual professional skills. Each ABIA seal is built on the principles of a recognized international standard, so employers, learners, and partners know exactly what was evaluated — not just what was claimed.
Which Seal Is Right for You?
ABIA offers four accreditation tracks, split across two categories: organizational accreditation for institutions, companies, and applications, and individual certification for professionals seeking their own credential. Use the table below to find yours at a glance.
| Seal | Who It's For | Standard |
| Education Excellence Seal | Vocational training institutes, corporate training providers, curriculum publishers | ISO 21001, 29993, 17024 |
| WebTech Certified | Web development companies, agencies, freelancers | ISO 25010, 27001, WCAG |
| AppAdvantage Seal | Web and mobile applications (B2B & B2C) | ISO 25010, 27001, WCAG |
| GVC (Individual) | Individual professionals seeking personal certification | Competency-based assessment |
WebTech Certified and AppAdvantage Seal are often confused because both reference the same standards — the distinction is simple: WebTech Certified accredits your business (the company, agency, or freelance practice), while AppAdvantage Seal accredits your product (the specific application itself).
Organizational Accreditation
Education Excellence Seal
Validate the quality of your vocational training institute, curriculum, and trainers. Built on the principles of ISO 21001, ISO 29993, and ISO 17024.
WebTech Certified
Certify your web development company, agency, or freelance practice against rigorous digital standards. Aligned with ISO 25010, ISO 27001, and WCAG.
AppAdvantage Seal
The mark of excellence for web and mobile applications. Demonstrates robust security, performance, and accessibility, aligned with ISO 25010, ISO 27001, and WCAG.

Individual Certification
The seals above accredit organizations. If you're an individual professional seeking your own credential — independent of any employer or company — ABIA's Global Vocational Certification (GVC) validates your practical, job-ready skills through a competency-based assessment.

Why Standards-Based Accreditation Matters
A self-issued badge only says what an organization claims about itself. Standards-based accreditation from an independent body like ABIA shows partners, clients, and learners that a defined benchmark was actually checked — and every ABIA credential carries a unique serial number that can be independently confirmed using our free certificate verification tool. For a fuller look at the case for accreditation, see our About page.
Professional and vocational, not academic. ABIA certifications and diplomas are Professional and Vocational Qualifications that validate workforce competency and technical skills. They are non-academic in nature and are not intended to replace, substitute, or equate to university degrees. Because ABIA operates as an independent, non-governmental standard-setting body for professional and vocational credentials — not as a degree-granting academic institution — ABIA does not require accreditation from another accrediting body to certify at this level.
